Anna Wilson is a critically acclaimed jazz recording artist and songwriter whose timeless, sophisticated sound is juxtaposed by her stunningly contemporary voice and message.
Jazz Times says, “She’s got a voice like crème de cacao and an inner metronome that swings wildly from age to age.” She has recorded four studio albums to date and shared concert billings with many top acts such as Josh Groban, Boz Scaggs, Al Jarreau, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Keith Urban, and The Mississippi Mass Choir. In addition, she is an award winning ASCAP songwriter whose compositions appear on over 6 million albums. Over the years, she has penned songs for Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Ann Womack, Chris Cagle, Chuck Wicks and penned the International theme song for Habitat For Humanity, "A House, A Home." Her current album, "Countrypolitan Duets" is a collaborative project featuring jazz renditions of classic country songs, where she is joined by Grammy award winning and legendary artists like Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Larry Carlton, Ray Price and more. The album’s debut single, “You Don’t Know Me”with American Idol’s Matt Giraud, hit No. 1 on the iTunes jazz chart. Currently, Wilson is writing and recording her next studio project due out in early 2014 called Jazzbird/Songbird that further highlights her extreme versatility as one of the modern era’s most prolific jazz singer-songwriters.
